About The Studio
Located right along the Hudson River and just 20 miles North of New York City, you’ll find Kate’s studio in a beautiful Beaux Arts building. Built in 1853, the building was once the site of The Anchor Brewing Company. A short walk from the Dobbs Ferry Metro North train station, the Hudson River Landing Building offers easy, free parking.
Located directly across from a self-operated freight elevator, the studio is over 700 square feet and features gorgeous soft North-facing light. Custom-made work tables sit below an open shelf that displays Kate’s personal ceramics and prop collection. A vintage pine hutch displays more of the collection, while a vintage wood table and Thonet chairs offer a perfect space for gathering. The studio has a vintage-look fridge and Terra Kaffe TK-01 super-automatic bean-to-cup espresso machine. Kate has stocked the studio with all her own lighting and grip—and loads of snacks! ;) —but has also designed it so that it’s versatile and flexible for any shoot’s needs. The studio can also easily accommodate deliveries via NYC messenger or other shipping service.
Please don’t hesitate to reach out—Kate would love to welcome you here!
